"The writer must write what he has to say, not speak it."
Ernest Hemingway seemed to be a man of very few words, at least out loud. The quote above I cherish and have it on a beautiful pen box my aunt gave me for Christmas last year.
However, while I think the quote was a little more literal for Hemingway, I take it to mean that a writer must always write. You can get a vivid description of Hemingway in Lillian Ross's profile on Hemingway. You understand he was a man like no other.
I've taken somewhat of a hiatus from writing over the past year, being busy with school and editing for the Big Green, but I've never stopped telling stories. I'm a born story teller, everything from my trek across the British Isles to my high school experiences to my day-to-day life, there's almost nothing that I cannot create a laughable story from.
This blog will be the story of my life, stories some have heard a thousand times, others may have never heard.
